Wallasey Yacht Club has the best low water racing in the North West, launching from beaches which are among the cleanest in the country. Racing takes place on the Mersey and inshore waters of the Irish Sea on Seabird Half-Raters one of the oldest one design boats in the UK. 

The Club has a thriving Junior section with training on Monday nights and Sunday mornings on the recently refurbished Marine Lake. Founded 1903.
